Frequently asked questions
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?
It depends on the age of the system, the cost of the repair, and the refrigerant it uses. We'll give you an honest diagnosis with repair and replacement options so you can decide — no pressure.
What is SEER2?
SEER2 is the current federal efficiency rating for air conditioners and heat pumps. A higher SEER2 number means the system uses less electricity to deliver the same cooling.
How often should my AC be serviced?
Once a year, ideally in spring before the heavy cooling season, to clean the coils, check refrigerant levels and electrical parts, and clear the condensate drain.
